why plan anything anymore?

I am mad. Very mad. My plans are dying, ok well this wasn't my plan, but yeah I so seriously helped out with it. It was Austin's plan/great idea.

Our Youth group was planning a lock in at the Bus Barn also known to us as the BB. So yeah we get everything going, we set a date, we clean it all out, we invite people, Austin's dad was going to buy all the food and snacks, we had sponsers at one point. Yeah.

We had been planning this for like 2 weeks.

All of a sudden our sponsers bail on us because they don't think they can handle 15 kids, and some of them we know aren't even going to show up, so yeah.

We decide, ok we're mature, Caroline and Shannen are both almost 18, and there won't be anyone under the age of 14 there, but no. They said we can't do it.

A new plan emerges...... Austin said he would call his mom to see if she would come up and supervise us. She's fun, not too strict, yet not too easy going. The perfect candidate. She said she would. Nope, can't do it. She's not a member of our church and it's a church sponsered event, yet no one from our church wants to sponser it.

No one will sponser it because it takes time away from them.

Everyone else gets a lock in. The Bible Bowl kids get a lock in, the elemetary class gets a lock in. We do not get a lock in.

GGGRRRRR!!!!!!!

Enough ranting for tonight.
